“I would like to leave an extremely positive review for Master Gas, especially for Lee. I had a problem with my boiler and the gas engineer I usually use was unavailable. Thanks to the excellent Google reviews here, I decided to contact Lee — and he absolutely lived up to every single one of those great reviews. First of all, he replied to my message very promptly, which was already impressive. I was also very lucky that he had availability the same day because someone else had cancelled. Lee came over and did an excellent job. Throughout the whole process he showed me the problems and clearly explained the repair and the costs involved. He even took the time to go and collect the necessary parts. While he was there, I also decided to have a full boiler service done with him, which turned out to be the best decision. During the service he identified three legitimate issues that could have led to more serious problems in the future if they hadn’t been addressed. He replaced all the necessary parts and showed me exactly why they needed replacing — they were clearly worn and obsolete, so there was no question about it. After the work was completed, my boiler honestly felt like a brand-new one. Another thing that really impressed me is that I occasionally used to notice a slight smell of gas in the bathroom. Since Lee completed the repairs and service, that smell has completely disappeared. I believe his work ended up fixing that issue as well, even though it wasn’t the original reason I called him. That made me extremely happy and, more importantly, I now feel very safe and confident with the work he carried out. His work was impeccable. Lee is clearly extremely knowledgeable, honest, and professional. There was no pressure, no unnecessary upselling — just a skilled engineer who truly knows what he’s doing. “Lee has replaced radiators and converted our central heating from a hot water cylinder and boiler system to a combi boiler. He's also installed a new bathroom for us. Lee is professional, reliable, was patient with all of my questions and cleared up at the end of each day. We live in an old property and Lee was faced with a mysterious collection of pipes to work out and re route, which he did with no fuss or mess. Before we went ahead with the installation, Lee took time to look at our existing system and made suggestions on what types of boiler may be best suited for our property. Lee has a brilliant set up that texts you when he's on his way, so there's no waiting and wondering when he'll turn up! We're were so pleased with Lee's work that when we realised he was also a plumber, we asked him to replace our bathroom suite. Again, he advised us on what might work best and I can honestly say a year and a half on, that his advice was great. Our bathroom looks great, works perfectly and now we have a thermostatic shower instead of an electric one, when the water pressure drops we don't have issues with the temperature - phew! Thankfully now he's sorted our major jobs, we only need him to visit once a year to service the boiler he installed, which is so easy to use compared to our previous system. Thanks Lee : )”

Lee popped over, did a fair bit of trial and error at no cost. I had a new boiler installed with MasterGas and Lee was smashing; shoe covers, vacuumed everything, tidied up and filled all the holes in the wall after mounting the boiler control. “We engaged Lee Harris of MasterGas Heating to service the central heating - unfortunately, for safety reasons, he had to condemn the boiler as it was very old and posing a risk of carbon monoxide fumes. He recommended a new combi boiler. Within a week the installation was completed and all the debris - including the old boiler and water tanks - was cleaned up and taken away. He also repaired our dream bathroom when a shower tray cracked causing major issues with the floor. “A recurring comment from the annual servicing of my combi boiler the past few years was that it is nearing 20 years old and not worth calling someone out to repair if it breaks down. After breaking down, I blanket e-mailed about a dozen boiler installers in my area (finding their details from 'find an installer' sections of various boiler manufacturer websites) to ask if I could get a quote for the installation of a new combi boiler. I did not mention anything about my existing one being broken. What stood Lee out from the crowd in my experience were: - his responsiveness from the get-go - when he visited my property, instead of only focusing on quoting a price for a new combi boiler like other installer visits, he asked about the existing boiler I had and what was wrong with it. I explained I knew it was old and was deemed not worth repairing were it to stop working, but at no charge Lee then went to the bother of taking off the front cover, doing various cursory checks, etc., all of which took about 20 minutes of his time. “There isn't enough praise or adjectives to describe the service I have had from this company time and time again. You know what it's like. Your boiler stops working at the most inconvenient time and you're left frantically phoning around friends and family asking if they know a "good heating and plumbing guy" if you're lucky they'll know someome they've used and trust. Otherwise you're left searching through dozens of plumbers on Google. You don't know what you're getting, are they any good? Will they diagnose the fault and charge you the right amount for the right repair, without adding things on etc etc!! Let me save you that pain if I may. I've used Lee for about 4/5 years now. From annual boiler checks to a full boiler replacement (more of that later) each time he's been a pleasure to deal with and had me up and running in no time at all. I fully trust him, I'm happy to leave him alone in my home and can vouch for his integrity, honesty, professionalism and reliability. Give him a call, you will honestly feel the same as I do. I've added some further information below, but if you don't read on, just know you've picked a great engineer. So this past week my boiler having gone 10 years finally packed up. Of course it waited for it to go from mild to cold to do so. Anyway Lee came straight out, priced the job and offered various choices and gave his opinions on all the different boilers and at different price points. Of course by now, I trust Lee's judgement and expertise explicitly, so went with his recommendation. Next was a date. Given the time of, heating guys are extremely busy, yet Lee has always found time to balance things so that he can do the pressing jobs whilst keeping all other customers happy. So he was able to fit me in within the week for a total boiler install (trust me no heat and hot water is horrible, so the fact he was able to schedule such a big job so soon was such a relief) Today he's been out and got me back up and running. As always he's done a first class job, he works so hard when here. He doesn't stop and is so thorough. He left me warm and with hot water and not a bit of mess in sight. I can not recommend this guy highly enough. He's a star!!! Get his number and keep it in your phone, I'm promise you won't regret it. Thank me later :)”
